Alex came to Cramasie with a prototype that needed further development and product design input to make the project more usable, stylish and a commercial reality. They required a cost reduction, aesthetic input, ergonomic usability input and design for manufacture (injection moulding).
It was paramount that Sealbaldes (www.sealblades.com) had a design that captured their market and brand identity, and Cramasie did just that! We supported our Scottish Startup client throughout their new development, prototyping and into manufacturing with a local toolmaker and manufacturer.
The company has now field tested their product and is now entering a Kickstarter campaign. We have also developed their new Sealblades Rush for kids. More to follow soon.
“We found the team at Cramasie great to work with, fast, responsive and well able to work the fine line between fulfilling our requests and adding their own flair to the designs. They also showed a balanced approach to marrying design with the practical elements of building commercially viable products. Most importantly they did what they said they would do when they said they would.” Alex O’Connor, Director of Sealblades
